The two sides were unable to be separated for the second time in the space of three weeks as the Clarets extended their unbeaten run to 11.
Scott Parker’s men rued two big missed opportunities, both falling to the normally Mr Reliable Josh Brownhill.
Here’s how Burnley’s players rated:
5. Bashir Humphreys - 7/10
Up against the lively Ben Doak but largely kept him quiet. An attacking outlet down the left early on as he attacked the space ahead of him. Photo: Molly Darlington
6. Josh Cullen - 7/10
Neat and tidy as always and kept things ticking over. Booking for the second game running with a late foul on Ben Doak. Photo: Gareth Copley
7. Josh Laurent - 6/10
Looked to break forward from midfield in the first-half but a little quieter as the game wore on. Had half a glimpse of goal from Hannibal’s pullback. Photo: Stu Forster
8. Josh Brownhill - 6/10
At the centre of a lot of Burnley’s good build-up play, but missed their two clearest opportunities. Simply has to score the second one. Photo: Stu Forster
