Burnley odds on favourites to win on the South Coast
The Clarets travel to 15th placed Bournemouth this weekend in a bid to make it three wins in a row in the league for just the second time this season.
Bournemouth, who have won just one of their last seven in the league, are best priced at 15/8 with Sky Bet, whilst the draw is available at 23/10 with Paddy Power.
If it’s goals you’re after this weekend, look no further than Sam Vokes. Burnley’s number nine has scored 16 goals this term, 11 of which have been away from home, including five in his last four games away from Turf Moor.
If you fancy Sam to open the scoring on Saturday, he is best priced at 6/1 with bet365 to do so, and is available at 2/1 with the same bookmaker to find the net anytime on Saturday.
It is however, Danny Ings, who is favourite to find the net first against Bournemouth, on offer at 9/2 with bet365.
Ings is now second favourite to be the league’s top goal scorer, having found the net 19 times this season, however it is Leeds United’s Ross McCormack who is the 8/15 favourite to score the most league goals this season having scored 22 times this term.
The last time Burnley beat Bournemouth was in 2004, the last time these two met prior to this season, and if punters fancy backing a repeat of this score line, it’s on offer at 13/1.
Having closed the gap to eight points between themselves and Leicester at the top of the table, Leicester are now best priced at 2/7 with BetVictor to be crowned champions of the Championship.
Burnley are still third favourites to win the league, and are now best priced at 16/1 with Sky Bet.
Sean Dyche’s men have a 13 point cushion over 7th placed Brighton, and are available at 7/4 with bet365 to be promoted this season, and are on offer at 4/9 with bet365 make the play-offs come the end of the season.
