Supercomputer makes early Burnley prediction for final 2026/27 Championship table
Burnley will be aiming for another instant promotion from the Championship next season
The pressure and expectation will be all on Burnley once again this season as they step down to the Championship.
The Clarets return to the second tier after suffering a third straight relegation from the Premier League, finishing in 19th on just 22 points.
Despite this season’s woes, Burnley - who remain managerless at this moment in time - will still be among the favourites to win promotion back to the top flight.
That’s for good reason too, with the Clarets finishing on 101 and 100 points respectively in their most recent Championship campaigns.
It promises to be an especially competitive season though, with West Ham and Wolves dropping down from the Premier League and the likes of Birmingham City, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United, Southampton and Wrexham also tipped to perform well.
Despite the 2025/26 season only just finishing, Betting Lounge have already issued their predictions for how the next campaign will play out.
