Burnley will be desperate to issue a quick response when they host Middlesbrough on Wednesday night.
Nicky Hayen’s side continued their poor start to the season on Saturday with a 4-1 horror show at Norwich City.
It saw them slip into the Championship’s bottom three, having taken just one point from their opening three games following last season’s relegation from the Premier League.
As for Boro, who are one of the fancied sides this season after going close last time out, they saw off West Brom at the Riverside to move up to fifth in the table.
Both sides have some injury concerns to contend with heading into Wednesday night’s encounter, so here's an early look at the team news for both outfits:

1. Enock Agyei (Burnley) - out
Nicky Hayen confirmed the 21-year-old winger remains sidelined with an unspecified issue, having been out for a lengthy period of time.

2. Jaydon Banel (Burnley) - out
The winger is facing “many weeks” on the sidelines with an unspecified injury after picking up a problem in pre-season training.

3. Ashley Barnes (Burnley) - out
The striker hasn’t been fit to feature in the squad at the start of the campaign and, by all accounts, is not expected to take to the pitch particularly often this season.

4. Jordan Beyer (Burnley) - out
The defender, who hasn’t made a competitive appearance since December 2023 due to a serious knee problem, hasn’t played any part in pre-season and faces serious doubts over his future.
