It’s another quick turnaround for Burnley as they return to Turf Moor for the first of back-to-back home games.
Nicky Hayen will be desperate to see a response from his side after they went down to a dismal 4-1 defeat at Norwich City on Saturday.
It compounds a poor start to the season for the Clarets, who are still yet to win.
As for Boro, they beat West Brom 3-1 at the weekend to move up to fifth place in the Championship table.
