Burnley will be desperate to end their long, long wait for a win this weekend when they host Derby County.
The fixture has been described as “must-win” by Clarets boss Nicky Hayen, who is already coming under increasing pressure following a terrible start to the season.
Last weekend’s 3-1 defeat to Swansea City saw Burnley slump to the bottom of the Championship table, having taken just three points from their first seven games.
It sets up a big clash with fellow strugglers Derby County, who also find themselves in the bottom three following last weekend’s defeat to Birmingham City.
Here’s how we expect the Clarets to line up:
5. LB - Connor Roberts
There have been calls for Hayen to pick a naturally left-footed defender in this role, but I'd be surprised if Roberts is dropped entirely. | Kelvin Stuttard Video & Photography
6. CM - Max Alleyne
Until Josh Cullen is back fit, Burnley must persist with Alleyne in the number six role, otherwise they're left completely unbalanced. | Kelvin Stuttard Video & Photography
7. CM - Ugo Raghouber
Despite his poor mistake at Swansea last week, it would be harsh to drop Raghouber, who has actually shown some signs of improving in recent weeks after a slow start. | Kelvin Stuttard Video & Photography
8. CM - Josh Laurent
He wasn't quite as effective against Swansea as he was in the previous game versus Wrexham, but he's the type of character you need in your team. | Kelvin Stuttard Video & Photography
