Jamie Vardy will be available to make his Burnley debut on Saturday when Nicky Hayen’s side face Swansea City.
The recent free agent arrival was suspended for the midweek game against Wrexham, carrying over a one-match ban from Serie A.
But he could make his Clarets bow in South Wales this weekend, although Hayen has warned he’s not match fit and might only be limited to 20 minutes off the bench.
Elsewhere, Jacob Bruun Larsen could be back from a slight knock that saw him miss the Wrexham game, as Burnley go in search of their first win of the season.
Here’s how we expect the Clarets to line up:
5. LB - Connor Roberts
The Swansea man will be desperate to start and impress on his return to his old stomping ground. Minutes are still being managed though after his season out. | Kelvin Stuttard Video & Photography
6. CM - Max Alleyne
Until Josh Cullen is back fit, Alleyne playing as the number six seems a good compromise. Brings stability and some much-needed balance to the midfield. | Kelvin Stuttard Video & Photography
7. CM - Ugo Raghouber
Enjoyed his best performance in a Burnley shirt during the midweek draw at Wrexham. Silky and smooth throughout. Having Alleyne behind him frees him up too. | Kelvin Stuttard Video & Photography
8. CM - Josh Laurent
Laurent was excellent in midweek, playing in a more advanced midfield role that allowed him to lead the press. The type of player you need in the team. | Kelvin Stuttard Video & Photography
