Burnley FC deadline day: Live updates as frantic end to window anticipated

Burnley are anticipating a typically busy end to the summer 2026 transfer window.

Nicky Hayen’s side have until 11pm tonight to complete their final bits of business for the remainder of the 2026/27 campaign.

Both ins and outs remain on the agenda, with much to do before tonight’s cut-off point.

It feels like there’s an extra need for Burnley to get their business right today following their poor start to the season, which has seen them fail to win any of their first five games in league and cup (during the 90 minutes).

That pain was only compounded at the weekend as they went down to a dismal 4-1 defeat to Norwich City.
