Burnley FC players banned from Twitter
BURNLEY players have been banned from discussing the club on social networking site Twitter.
Footballers including Rio Ferdinand and Joey Barton have become known for their “tweeting” but clubs are now keen to steer stars away from controversy. It is believed the Burnley players can still use Twitter to address issues outside the club. Burnley FC did not wish to comment.
