Burnley favourites ahead of Black Cats clash

The Clarets picked up their second point of the campaign in a goal-less draw away at Crystal Palace last weekend, but remain 4/9 favourites for relegation and 6/4 favourites with BetVictor to finish bottom of the pile.

Notwithstanding that, Burnley have an excellent opportunity to seal a first victory back in the Premier League when Sunderland come to town, and BetVictor make Sean Dyche’s side favourites; Burnley 6/4, Sunderland 85/40 and the draw likewise.

The point at Selhurst Park made it back-to-back goal-less draws but, perhaps more importantly, also gave the Clarets consecutive clean sheets and Burnley’s staunch rear-guard can see them to success against the Black Cats.

Burnley are 6/4 for third consecutive clean sheet, 3/1 to win the game to nil and 13/2 to win by the solitary goal.
