Burnley bookies favourites ahead of Ipswich clash

The early kick off at Turf Moor sees the visit of an Ipswich Town side who will come in search of three points that might move them into a coveted play-off position.

Ipswich are currently ninth in the table, but are just two points outside the top six. A win for the Tractor Boys is on offer at 9/4 whilst the draw is widely available at 5/2.

Michael Kightly was the man in form over the Easter weekend, scoring the winner at Blackpool and then adding the second goal in Monday’s victory against Wigan Athletic. The midfielder is 15/1 to break the deadlock on Saturday and 5/1 to make it three in a row by scoring at anytime.

Three clean sheets from the last four games have ensured the Clarets have been tough to beat. Another shut out against Ipswich is 9/4.

The reverse of this fixture, at Portman Road back in October, saw Burnley run out 1-0 winners. That scoreline has been enough in two of Burnley’s last three wins and could be popular at 8/1 with Paddy Power.
