The club were reported to be weighing up a £2.5m joint bid for the Rams pair, with a selection of national publications inferring that an offer had already been tabled.

Scotland international midfielder Bryson was awarded the fans’ player of the year accolade in a season that culminated with heartache following a last-minute play-off final defeat to QPR at Wembley.

And Hoops’ boss Harry Redknapp is also reportedly monitoring the 27-year-old who scored 16 goals in 49 appearances during the 2013/14 term, which included two hat-tricks.

Bryson was signed from Kilmarnock by former Rams boss Nigel Clough in the summer of 2011 for around £450,000 and has netted a total of 27 goals in 134 games.

Defender Keogh, who replaced Clarets skipper Jason Shackell at Pride Park, now the iPro Stadium, two years ago was signed from Coventry City for £1m and was voted player of the year in his first season at the club.

The 27-year-old Republic of Ireland international has played 96 times for Derby - including 47 last term - and has scored six goals during that tenure.
