Joe gets call for the MCC
Joe Martin, 17, opening batsman and wicketkeeper with Lowerhouse and a student at Thomas Whitham Sixth Form, has been selected for the MCC Schools’ team to play against England Schools’ Cricket Association Under 19s at Lords on Monday.
Stuart Smith nominated Joe for the team after an MCC fixture, when they asked the school to nominate a man of the match, and the MCC decided to select him.
Joe also plays for Lancashire Schools.
