Clitheroe climber Connor in confident mood ahead of Austria trip

The day after sitting four AS exam papers across four consecutive days Connor travelled to Scotland to take part in the first International Federation of Sport Climbing European Youth Cup of 2013.

Some 206 young people from 19 European countries travelled to the EICA in Scotland, to take part in the event.

Connor’s age group had 37 competitors, and after climbing two technically challenging routes he was placed 18th. He will be travelling to Austria in July with the GB climbing team to compete in the European Youth Championships.
