Youngster beats off rivals to earn her place at top London drama school...at the age of 10
The bright lights of Broadway could be beckoning a talented 10-year-old from Whalley who has won a prestigious scholarship to a top drama school.
Mia McLoughlin beat off competition from hundreds of other youngsters who were competing for a coveted place at the Sylvia Young Theatre School, London.
She had to pass a series of auditions in dance, drama and singing. Mia, a pupil at Whalley Primary School who lives with her parents Lee and Jo, has been training with Little Voices Blackburn and Ribble Valley, Danceworks in Clitheroe and Ribble Valley Dance ballet school.
