X-rays hit by strike
Burnley people due to have X-rays later this month may have their appointments cancelled after radiographers voted in favour of strike action.
Members of the Society of Radiographers will take part in a four-hour nationwide strike on October 20th for the first time in more than 30 years.
They will also work to rule for the remainder of that week.
Emergency care will continue to be provided but the society said pre-booked appointments and procedures may be affected.
