Wounding charge after glass attack
A 19-YEAR-OLD Clitheroe man has appeared in court following an incident in the town’s Rose and Crown pub in October during which a 16-year-old boy was hit with a glass.
Joseph Eland, of Seedall Avenue, was sent on bail to Preston Crown Court charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
l A patient at Calderstones Hospital, in Whalley, has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with assaulting nine members of staff there. Jessica Kiera Caldecott (21) was remanded on bail in her absence.
