Woman missing after night out

Sarah Jane Aspinall (36), from Accrington, was last seen in the early hours of Saturday morning in Burnley town centre.

She had been on a night out with a friend in the area and was last seen at around 4am. Her friends and family have not heard from her since.

Sgt Peter Moore said: “It is unusual for Sarah not to have been in touch with anyone, particularly her friend who she had been out socialising with.

“If you have seen her or know where she is, please get in contact with us.

“Similarly, if Sarah sees this appeal herself, I would urge her to let us or a family member or friend know she is okay.”

Sarah is described as 4ft. 10in., of slim build, with very long dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a short, black dress to just above the knee, a red crocheted cardigan, black knee high boots and a choker type necklace containing white beads.
