West Bradford man faces ‘vehicle ringing’ charge

A 25-year-old man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with being part of a “vehicle ringing” scam.

Thomas Andrew Mackenzie, of Clitheroe Road, West Bradford, is charged with handling a stolen engine control unit (ECU) and a rear axle belonging to James Blades and handling two axles, an engine and a gearbox belonging to Wilson Hodgson.

He was sent on bail to appear next at Preston Crown Court.
