Water jet shoots from ex-Nelson mill
A powerful water jet is shooting from a sprinkler system at a partly-demolished Nelson mill, pouring into nearby streets.
It is believed water has been flooding from the sprinkler system at the former Express Gifts building, off junction 13 of the M65, for several days.
The site is currently for sale and has been earmarked for housing development.
Nelson’s Mark Salmon captured this shot of the drama last night (Monday), saying: “Someone has turned on the sprinkler system and now it can`t be shut off!”
