VIDEO: Sir John Thursby students run Burnley’s Holiday Inn
Students from Sir John Thursby Community College, Burnley, got the chance to take over the town’s Holiday Inn Express as part of an educational initiative.
Sixteen students from Years 9 and 10 took on a variety of jobs at the hotel, from manning reception, being a chef and general manager.
Each pupil had to apply for the role they wanted and go through an interview.
