Unity College students help Burnley Food Bank

Six Year Seven Unity College students held their own mystery fundraiser over lunch-time for Burnley Food Bank.

It was part of their Community lesson and each student developed their own game, made individual posters and ran their stall on the day.

Games included The Wheel of Wonder, Hidden Treasure, Molly’s sweet shop, The Mystery Key game and more.

The students raised £212 and they presented Mandy Newlove from the Spacious Place Engage Food Bank with the cheque and the students were given a certificate.

The Year Seven students involved were: Katelyn Haydock,Laiba Naseem, Molly McGrail, Aidan Curry, John Spencer and Ben Hinton.
