Free books will help Burnley school promote its message of reading for pleasure

A Burnley schools' library has been boosted with the addition of 40 free books.

Blessed Trinity RC College has received the books from the Book Trust. The pack contains 15 titles, split across three categories - Future Classics, Reluctant Readers and Non-Fiction.

Librarian Beverley Halstead said: "It was fantastic to receive the School Library Pack.

“There are some brilliant titles which I am sure our pupils will enjoy reading. The varied range of books should ensure that there is something to appeal to everyone.

“These welcome additions to the library will support the school in its aim of encouraging and developing a culture of reading for pleasure."
