Two cut free from car on New Year's Eve
Two people had to be cut free from a car in Nelson on New Year's Eve.
Two fire engines from Nelson were called to the accident on Railway Street at 10-30pm.
When they arrived at the scene, firefighters found that two people were trapped in the car and they released them using cutting equipment.
Paramedics were called to the scene and they assessed the two people trapped in the car. Their injuries are unknown at present.
