Man rescued from river
A man had to be airlifted to hospital after being rescued from a river today.
The man in his 40s was flown to the Royal Preston Hospital after getting into difficulty in Colne Water, near to Cotton Tree Lane in Colne.
All three emergency services were called to the scene at 10-20am after a member of the public spotted the man.
