Crews extinguish Billington cooker hob fire
Firefighters were called out to a kitchen blaze in Whalley Road at 2.25pm today (Bank Holiday Monday)
A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue said: "Two fire engines and crews from Clitheroe responded to a fire involving a cooker hob. There were no casualties. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire."
