Family pay tribute to "loving" father-of-two killed in Rossendale collision
Father-of-two Andrew Marshall (54), from Bacup, was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision on Burnley Road East on Friday, November 10th at 10:13pm, with police appealing for witnesses to the incident.
Another man aged 48 was seriously injured in the collision and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital where he is being treated, with firefighters forced to use cutting equipment and lighting to release the two drivers.

Hide Ad"Andrew was a loving husband and a wonderful father to his two children," read a statement from Andrew's family. "He was a great friend to many and will be truly missed by all family and friends. Forever in our hearts."
Two fire engines from Rawtenstall and Bacup, as well as the Urban Search and Rescue Team from Chorley, were called to the scene after a Volkswagen Golf and a Vauxhall Vectra collided.
"An investigation into what happened is now underway," said Sergeant Andy Walton of the road police unit. “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man killed in this collision.
“I would appeal to anyone who saw the collision or either of the two cars shortly before it to come forward with any information they feel might help our investigation,” he added.
