Three fire engines were called to a blaze at a house in Burnley yesterday afternoon.

Crews from Burnley and Nelson attended the incident at the house in Brennand Street at 2pm.

The fire was in an understairs cupboard and was extinguished using one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan.

Crews were at the scene for around 30 minutes.
