Three fire engines called out to tackle kitchen fire at Pendle house

Three fire engines were called out to tackle a kitchen blaze yesterday.

Appliances from Nelson and Colne received a 999 call to the property in Barkerhouse Road in Nelson at 5-45pm.

Firefighters wearing two sets of breathing apparatus used one hose reel and a ventilatin unit to bring the blaze under control.

No injuries were reported.
