There were winners all round when Ann Huyton decided to have her hair chopped into a bob for charity.

The hair-raising event at Robert Brannon’s hairdressers enabled Ann to donate £250 each to Pendleside Hospice and T.E.A.M Rise – a community interest company based in Burnley.

And Ann made it a triple charity boost when she donated her cut off hair to the Little Princess Trust who provide wigs and hair pieces for children who suffer hair loss due to cancer treatment.
