Teen talked down from M65 bridge in Burnley
A teenage girl had to be talked down from a motorway bridge near Burnley by police negotiators.
The 18-year-old was spotted on the wrong side of the barriers on a bridge crossing above Junction 10 of the M65 on Sunday night.
Police immediately closed the motorway and sent specialist officers to talk to the girl who was standing on a small ledge around 9-45pm.
She was made safe at 10-40pm and taken to hospital for assessment, and the motorway reopened.
