Supermarket recalls strawberry cheesecakes

​​​The discount retailer is recalling packs of Milbona Strawberry Cheesecakes ​as they may contain Milbona Strawberry Trifles, which contain egg not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.

The product being recalled is Milbona Strawberry Cheesecakes, 3 x 100g pack, with a use-by date of 12 June 2015.

Lidl are advising consumers who have bought the product and have an allergy or intolerance to egg, to return it to their nearest Lidl store for a full refund. You can also contact the Lidl Customer Services Helpline on 0370 444 1234.
