Stroll in park raises cash for Pendleside Hospice
YOUNGSTERS in fancy dress turned a stroll in the park into a charity outing and raised money for Pendleside Hospice.
The five children, all in the care of childminders Nicola Mullen and Paula Wren, were sponsored and collected £135 from family and friends after completing the walk.
Nursery nurses Nicola and Paula set up Little Stars Childminders in Accrington Road, Burnley, last October and organised the outing after telling the youngsters about their experience when they joined hundreds of others on the Hospice Midnight Walk in July.
