Sport a ‘tache to raise cash

It’s Pendleside Hospice’s Mighty Moustache Month in November and they are asking people to support the hospice by growing or simply wearing a wacky moustache.

The campaign runs throughout the month and men, women and children can all take part as stick on and drawn moustaches are allowed.

Businesses can take part by asking staff to pay £1 and wear a stick on moustache in the office for the day while schools and colleges can promote itwith a ‘dress down’ day.

Sammi Bracewell, a fundraiser for Pendleside Hospice, said: “Mighty Moustache Month is such a fun and easy way for people to support their local hospice.

“We can provide any fund-raising material people may need such as sponsor forms, posters, collecting buckets/tubs, hospice T-shirts and stick on moustaches for ladies who want to join in the fun.

“We hope plenty of people will get involved and would love to see people’s mighty moustache selfies on our Facebook or Twitter pages.”

For a free fund-raising pack, including a selection of stick on moustaches, please call Sammi at the hospice on 01282 440136 or email [email protected]
