Smiles all round for Burnley Panto
Burnley Pantomime Society is the best in the north '“ and its stars have picked up a clutch of gongs too.
The ACT Pantomime Awards saw the society win Best Panto (North area) as well as Most Original Music Ensemble for Jonathan Chalker and his band.
Best Creative Comic Actress went to Rebecca Wright as the “Empress” and an Excellence in Dance award was picked up by Lynn McCheyne and her dancers – all for the January production of Aladdin. Tickets for the next production of Beauty and The Beast (January 2017) go on sale in August and can be bought from the Mechanics box office or online.
