Shock death of Burnley doorman (54)
Family and friends were stunned at the shock death of “friendly giant” Ray Chew, who was a doorman in Burnley for more than 20 years.

Ray (54) had been a doorman at pubs including the Cross Keys, Garden Bar and Churchills and was a well-known face around the Burnley pub scene.
Ray was due to start a new job with Nelson Council but his son Michael had been unable to get hold of him for a couple of days and he was found at his home in St John’s Road, Gannow Top.
