School flouts uniform to raise for genetic charity
Trawden Forest Primary School on Dean Street in Trawden have donned their demin in support of the Jeans for Genes campaign, which funds a range of initiatives that improve the lives of children affected by a genetic disorder.
With over £180 raised, the elated children from year six to the reception class enjoying the non-uniform day were able to explain that the money they were helping to raise was going to help people who had encountered difficulty because of a genetic disorder.
