Sabden plans Christian Aid event
Sabden’s effort for Christian Aid is a coffee morning and sale with stalls on Saturday, May 10th.
There will be handbags, accessories and scarves by Goldilocks along with stalls selling books, bedding plants, good as new and bring and buy. There is a raffle and tombola, as well as home-made refreshments and a cake stall at the event in St Mary’s Community Hall, from 10am to noon. Admission is £2.
If anyone has items to donate can they leave them with Eileen Lowe at 26 Whalley Road.
The Christian Aid envelopes, which will be distributed with May’s Good News magazine, can also be returned to this event, or left at any of the village churches.
