Respiratory team in running for top Nursing Times award


ELHT’s Integrated Respiratory Nursing Team are competing for the Nursing Times “Respiratory Nursing” prize, which rewards nurses who have improved the quality of care provided to patients with respiratory conditions.
Chief Nurse Chris Pearson said: “The Trust is proud to be shortlisted for such a highly prestigious award. The achievement of our Integrated Respiratory Nursing Team is further evidence of the high standards of care our staff provide for the local population we serve.”

Hide AdCompetition for a coveted Nursing Times Award is strong with more than 700 entries from NHS Trusts the length and breadth of Britain.
“By putting the patient at the heart of everything we do, our project has developed an integrated team of hospital respiratory nurses and community oxygen and pulmonary rehabilitation teams,” said Integrated Respiratory Team Clinical Lead Barbara Lubomski. Her and the Nursing Team now look forward to discovering if they win in London on October 29th.
