The Holiday Inn Express, in Pendle Way, has teamed up with Moorhouse’s Brewery to tantalise the taste buds of guests with cask-inspired dishes, such as beer battered haddock and steak and ale pie.

Along with the traditional options, some of the more unusual dishes include beer and cheese soup, Moorhouse’s ale infused Mexican chilli and peanut butter and ale jelly cheesecake.

The new menu is being matched with pints of Moorhouse’s ale.

Holiday Inn Express general manager Gerardo Souto said: “We recognise the growing trend for real ales and how people are enjoying beer with their food.”
