Pure underground rock ’n’ roll history coming to Barnoldswick
A piece of underground rock ’n’ roll history is coming to Barnoldswick this weekend.
Tyla J. Pallas, founding force of The Dogs D'Amour, is set to perform at Barnoldswick’s Music and Arts Centre on Saturday, June 13th, for what will be an unforgettable evening.

Pallas is set to bring his acclaimed one-man show Dog Tales & Cocktails to the intimate stage of Barnoldswick Music & Arts Centre — where every glance, every lyric and every breath becomes part of a shared story.
As the frontman of The Dogs D'Amour — a band that emerged from the gritty London underground in the early 1980s — Tyla crafted songs that fused swaggering blues, punk spirit, poetic heart and ragged glamour into a sound like no other. The Dogs' music drew comparisons to the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Faces and glam punk, yet always with a voice unmistakably Tyla's own — whiskey-soaked, rough-edged and brimming with feeling.
Whilst fronting The Dogs D'Amour, Pallas wrote classics such as ‘I Don't Want You To Go’,‘Satellite Kid’, which became their highest-charting UK single at No. 26 and ‘How Come It Never Rains’, tracks that became cult anthems of romance and ruin and helped the band develop a devoted fanbase.
