£2,000 cash giveaway!

THE Burnley Express has teamed up with leading Toyota dealer group, Vantage Toyota, to launch a new community initiative that will see thousands of pounds invested in community and social projects across the region.

The Vantage Toyota Community Drive will run until mid September and will involve the group’s Toyota centre in Colne giving away £2,000 to support worthwhile causes in the area.

The initiative is being run to celebrate the launch of the all-new Yaris and recognises the important contributions that many community groups make to improve their local areas and to help those that might otherwise be struggling after government cuts.

We are inviting community groups, clubs and deserving individuals to submit a bid describing how they would spend the money and how this will benefit their local area. The initiative is open to all and could include everything from supporting community music groups to kitting out the local youth football team or supporting an up-and-coming sports star.

The closing date for entries is Friday September 16, when a shortlist of potential finalists will be compiled with the overall winner to be decided by a reader vote. The winner will be announced at a special prize giving event and pick up £1,500, with two runners up each receiving £250.
