Power cut hits Burnley and Nelson area
Around 800 homes in the Burnley and Nelson areas were left without power last night after an electricity fault.
Power went off at 9-37pm and Electricity North West said 700 homes had their electricity restored within 40 minutes while the remaining properties had power back on at 2-20am this morning.
The power cut affected homes in Wheatley Lane Road and Harpers Lane, in Fence, Sabden Road, Higham, and Osborne Terrace and Well Head Road in Newchurch-in-Pendle.
