Politicians call for postal vote change

Pendle’s most senior politicians will make calls for a revision in the controversial postal voting system later today.

Conservative MP Andrew Stephenson and Liberal Democrat peer Lord Tony Greaves will both take part in television and radio programmes on the subject.

Mr Stephenson will be interviewed on BBC2’s “Daily Politics” programme at noon, while Lord Greaves, who has campaigned for change at Westminster for a decade, is taking part in a Radio 4 programme “File on 4” at 8pm.

A full report on the matter will appear in Friday’s newspaper.
