Police search for missing child and mother
A search for a missing eight-year-old girl and her mother has been launched.
The two - the child Shariah Agyeman, is believed to be in the company of her mother, Yukiko Kato, who is Japanese - are thought to be in the Lancashire area.
Police say there is concern for their welfare.
Shariah has been missing since January 28.
The appeal for help has come from the Metropolitan Police who have called on the assistance of Lancashire Police.
Anyone who has seen them is asked to call 101 and to be put through to the Met.
