Police hunt knifeman after Burnley stabbing

A 29-year-old man was rushed to the Royal Blackburn Hospital this morning after being stabbed multiple times outside the Tim Bobbin.

The ambulance service received reports of the incident at 8-15am and discovered the male with four stab wounds, to his arm, leg, rib area, and backside.

It is believed his condition is not serious and the victim has already discharged himself from the hospital.

A spokesman from the police said: “Emergency services attended the scene of the incident this morning after receiving reports of a man with several puncture wounds.

“Thankfully the victim doesn’t seem to be in too bad of a way and he has already discharged himself.

“However we are obviously very keen to catch up with the culprit, and investigations are currently ongoing.”
