Police appeal to find missing Trevor

Police have issued an appeal for information after an Accrington man working in Barnoldswick has not been seen for six weeks.

Trevor Whitehead (51) was last seen in Accrington by a neighbour on the evening of Wednesday, April 9th. He has failed to attend work or contact any family or friends since.

Mr Whitehead had been working at the Skipton Building Society in Barnoldswick before he went missing and two recent possible sightings of Mr Whitehead near to Skipton railway station have been reported by members of the public.

They describe the male as looking dishevelled, wearing a black zip up jacket, combat trousers, a large back pack and carrying a ground sheet.

Mr Whitehead is described as a white male, 5ft. 7in. tall, of medium build, with a fair complexion and short grey hair.

Before going missing he was last seen wearing either a red waterproof coat or a dark green camouflage jacket with green wellington boots and a dark rucksack.
