Police appeal to find missing mobility scooter woman (68)


Carole Harris was last seen yesterday (Tuesday) around 3.10pm in Burnley town centre after her partner dropped her off. This was in St James’s Street, between Centenary Walk and Hammerton Street.
She was due to be picked up at 5-30pm, but did not turn up.
Carole is described as white, around 5ft. 3in. tall, of a large build with shoulder-length grey hair and glasses. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket with purple arms, a red skirt, red woollen hat and dark open toe sandals.

Hide AdShe has mobility issues and uses a blue mobility scooter with black handle bars, a black basket on the front and the words ‘Little Gem’ on the back.
It is thought Carole could still be in the East Lancashire area.
Sgt Andy Horne, of Burnley Police, said: “It is very out of character for Carole to go missing and we are becoming increasingly concerned about her whereabouts.
“If anyone has seen her or knows where she may be please contact police as soon as possible. Similarly, Carole if you see this appeal please let us know that you are safe.”
