Photos: Prince Andrew officially opens Burnley UTC
Burnley’s newest education facility was given the royal seal of approval when Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, officially opened the University Technical College.
The Duke of York met students and staff at the college within the On the Banks development in Burnley’s historic Weavers’ Triangle.
He was welcomed by Mr Martin Callagher, managing director of the UTC, and saw a mini racetrack built by the students.
