There were seasonal readings and carols and time to reflect and remember loved ones who have died. The Light up a Life appeal is sponsored by funeral directors Alderson and Horan in Burnley.
Fund-raising manager Mrs Christina Cope said: “We were delighted that over 1,050 people came along to this moving Light up a Life service. Thank you to all the volunteers and staff at Pendleside and all who gave their time to make this a very special service.”
